PURPOSE :
The Wiseco and On Track Scholarship was established in 2016. The mission of the scholarship is to provide a $2500 Scholarship to On Track School provided by Wiseco.

Recipient is chosen based on academic performance, leadership potential, community service and participation in motocross. Scholarships are awarded annually provided funds are available.

SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS
The Wiseco and On Track Scholarship is awarded on the basis of a comprehensive process. If awarded, recipient must attend On Track School in order to maintain all scholarship funds. Areas that are reviewed by the committee include, but are not limited to the following: Academic Accomplishments, Community Service, References, Personal Essay and Race Resume along with Race History. Scholarships are awarded annually. The Wiseco and On Track Scholarships are awarded without regard to race, color, ethnicity, gender or sexual orientation. Scholarships awarded are based upon the availability of funds and additional qualifying criteria.

Recipient must perform the following:

List Wiseco as a sponsor and mention in any verbal/video interviews.
Wiseco logos on fork guards and any other available space on gear, trailer, etc.
If not already using Wiseco product, please have them contact me directly regarding trying Wiseco product
Do not endorse any competing piston manufacturers
Add kbailey@rwbteam.com to recipient list for any race updates, photos, etc.
Tag Wiseco social media (@wisecopistoninc IG and FB)
Create product-specific posts when using/installing Wiseco product, tag us, and send assets to kbailey@rwbteam.com when opportunity arises
Work with Wiseco within reason regarding any special blog post, video, etc. projects Wiseco might coordinate

CRITERIA
Applicants must attend On Track school or plan to enroll at On Track School.
Applicants must be a citizen or legal permanent resident of the United States.
Applicant must currently participate in Motocross.
Applicants must complete and submit a Scholarship Application by June 21, 2021 for the upcoming school year.

TIMELINE
Applications are due June 21 of the current calendar year.
Candidates may be asked for an interview by a Scholarship Committee conducted in early July.
Applicants are notified if awarded a scholarship by July 22, 2021.

Application Process

SCHOLARSHIP APPLICANTS MUST PROVIDE:
Completed application form.
Official proof of academic standing.
A letter of academic references from a guidance counselor or teacher.
A letter completed reference from community members or someone other than family.
Motocross race resume.
Motocross history.

SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS AND STIPULATIONS
Awards will be given by a time to be determined by Wiseco and On Track School.
Recipient must maintain a GPA of 2.5 or higher while attending On Track during the scholarship period to maintain scholarship. If requirement is not met the scholarship could be revoked.
Recipient agrees to remain current on all assignments for all courses throughout the duration of the school year. Should the recipient fall more than two weeks behind student will be placed on probation and could be subject to scholarship being revoked. An academic extension request must be approved by the Administrator prior to need or in the event of an emergency. This academic extension can only be requested and approved once during the scholarship year.
Participants who fail to communicate with teachers, administrators, or training facility organizers regarding changes in travel or training may be subject to scholarship being revoked as well as financial penalties.
Wiseco logos must be displayed in an approved location on all race bikes.
Recipient agrees to post and repost on social at least 5 times throughout the year specifically about Wiseco and On Track School.
Recipient agrees to tag Wiseco and On Track School in all social media that shows logo or pertains to motocross racing or training or school.
Recipient agrees to represent themselves as well as Wiseco and On Track School in a professional and respectful manner at all times.
If any or all of the above are not met or in good standing the scholarship could be revoked.
