MISSION STATEMENT

It is our goal to provide students with the necessary tools in order to achieve academic success while pursuing their personal dreams. On Track customizes an independent study program that suits the needs of each student while taking into consideration individual learning styles.

ANDREA LEIB

Andrea is an advocate of both learning and life success and understands that recognizing individual differences plays a key role. Andrea holds a California Clear Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, Pupil Personnel Service Credential, and a Masters Degree in Educational Counseling. With over 30 years of experience in the field of education, Andrea brings an innovative and motivational approach to distance learning.

ACCREDITATION

On Track has been awarded accreditation through AdvanED. On Track School diplomas will contain the seal granting students access to college and university admissions. We are also a recognized as a 501-C3 non-profit private school in the state of California.

PROGRAMS

On Track School: This program blends the best of modern technology and innovation with traditional, research-based academic approaches. This program offers a blend of text-based materials and an online platform to connect with multiple resources, Learning Coaches, and fellow students.

REGISTRATION & TUITION

The annual registration fee for all programs is $350.00 per family. This is a non-refundable fee per student.
Tuition includes full teacher support, curriculum, unlimited online resources, shipping, and a flexible monthly payment plan.

FEES & EXTENSIONS

Fees are based according to the program of choice. It is important to note that a 30-day trial period will be guaranteed. If during this time, our program is not fitting a student’s learning style, either a program change or a refund will be given minus the registration fee and curriculum expenses. Extensions are required if course assignments are not completed during the time allotted to each quarter/semester. These fees can be found on the Parent Agreement.

LATE FEES

Tuition may be set up on a monthly payment plan based on the options provided on our Parent Agreement. If at any time payments are received after the first Monday of the current month, a $30.00 late fee will be charged to the account.

PAYMENT METHODS

On Track will bill each family according the agreed upon payment schedule established in the Parent Agreement. On Track maintains a secure virtual terminal billing a credit card number on file.

LEARNING COACHES

Learning Coaches are chosen by their ability to understand individual differences, become positive role models, and go the distance in order to bridge the gap between achieving average and successful accomplishments. Learning Coaches meet with students on a 1-1 basis providing the key to our complete program. On Track requires a full background check as well as professional references of our certified teachers.

CLASS RATIO

Our Learning Coaches will have 25 students or less in each class that they teach, keeping our commitment to sharing the opportunity for more individualized learning.

HOME COACHES

It is essential to realize the importance of the home coach. This person can be a parent, grandparent, mechanic, or sports coach who is willing to help the student maintain discipline, guide instruction, and provide the necessary home tools in order for the student to have a complete team approach to distance learning. Together with the Learning Coach and the Home Coach, the student will enter a contract for success!

CUSTOMIZATION

On Track offers the ability to customize curriculum as well as provide supplemental lessons for those students who demonstrate the responsible behavior necessary to excel academically. Field trip opportunities, extra credit reports, and learning through movies have proven to be an excellent reward for work well done! Options to accelerate the individual academic plan are also considered part of customization.

Press releases are sent out to industry websites celebrating the success of deserving students. Take a look at our website; www.ontrackschool.com to view our successful students and learn more about what they have to say.

PHOTOS AND TESTIMONIALS

A photo release form signed by a parent for students under the age of 18 will be kept on file in order to post photos on our website. The On Track yearbook is posted with testimonials as well. Please make sure you submit current photos with permission from photographers. Testimonials are important to have on file since they are a reflection or your experience that others can learn from and they are also used in the press releases.

ELECTIVES & PHYSICAL EDUCATION

Elective and P.E. credits may be given for life experience as well as extracurricular activities such as athletic training, gym memberships, dance, karate, and college courses that will count as dual enrollment. Typically our summer school program offers elective credit unless purchased separately during the school year.

COMMUNITY SERVICE

On Track encourages students to take part in the big picture within a larger community and learn the dynamics of what it means to be of service to others. The requirement of a minimum of 20 hours must be filled by completion 12 grades.

HONORS COURSES

Honors courses are available and are subject to test scores during initial placement testing at the time of enrollment. Our courses offer A-G requirements for UC University admissions. Information is provided during our orientation process.

PLACEMENT TESTS

Placement tests will be given in Math and English upon enrolling into the On Track School upon recommendation. This is done at the discretion of the Director. Students will be placed into the grade level that corresponds to their age rather than the outcome of the test scores. It is our philosophy that students achieve success at an independent level in order to grow academically.

ON TRACK COLLEGE COURSES & CAREER GUIDANCE

On Track School offers students a college and career guidance membership which is included to all current enrollments, students who wish to become a member after graduation and earn college credit are welcome. Memberships are $350 per year. Course and book fees sold separately.

PRIOR TRANSCRIPTS AND GRADES

Transcripts and grades must be submitted within a reasonable time frame. Requests for transcript forms are available upon request. Please allow 48-72 hours.

ON TRACK PROGRESS REPORTS

On Track School will provide grades and clearly show progress for parents and students on and ongoing basis. On Track Students will be required to log on as well as report in for weekly meetings with their designated Learning Coach.

PLAGIARISM

On Track enforces a strict policy regarding plagiarism and believes that discussing this in advance can alleviate the unnecessary occurrence in advance. In fact, a special form has been designed hoping to educate our students on the importance of owning your own work and not stealing from other sources. A warning will be given prior to a failure on any given assignment.

ACADEMIC SUSPENSION

Students who are not checking in with their Learning Coaches on a regular basis or who fall behind in their schoolwork may be placed on academic suspension.
